Chancey Sr., while working at Chancey Trailers. Early on, Chancey Metals excelled in the intricate work of custom ornamental fencing. Lee\u2019s craftsmanship is still evident in many of our area\u2019s historic landmarks, such as the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in St. Augustine. Lee\u2019s commitment to excellence quickly led to the development of a first-class team of tradesmen and technical and managerial personnel. Lee and his mother, Mary Chancey, worked side by side building the company while earning a stellar reputation matched by few others in the industry.<\/p>\n

Lee and Mary retired in the summer of 2020 after selling Chancey Metals to another Jacksonville, FL-based firm, Geddes Enterprises. Now with Owner Tim Geddes, and CEO, Steve Jenkins at the helm, the company continues to build on the Chancey legacy. Chancey Metals currently serves many of the country\u2019s most successful and sought-after clients, completing projects throughout the southeastern US.
